Carmen Brown is a native of Colorado Springs and enjoys the outdoors with her wonderful husband, three precious children, and one ornery dog! Carmen has been passionate about the performing arts since she was in elementary school and she continued that pursuit through high school and beyond when she earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She has enjoyed sharing her skills and passion as a music director and a private voice teacher for over 20 years and as a theater director for the last seven years. She has also enjoyed many performance opportunities with Tin Roof Productions, Elevate with Ballet Society, and The Madrigals at the Glen Eyrie Castle. Her favorite performance opportunity was taking Pride and Prejudice to the Jane Austen festival in Bath, England. She loves working with students and developing their talents and confidence and bringing glory to God through the performing arts and is excited to be back at CYT!
