Ballet Beginning

Description: Unlock the timeless elegance of classical ballet in our Beginning Ballet class for dancers ages 8-10! At Cultivate Performing Arts Academy, we proudly introduce young dancers to the renowned Vaganova method delivered through age appropriate and fun methods.  In this foundational class, students will learn the core principles of classical ballet with a focus on proper alignment and muscle engagement while executing the fundamental par terre, barre and center exercises of Vaganova’s Year 1. Ballet classes within the Studio Program are designed for students who desire to be challenged in ballet but at a lower time commitment than our Conservatory. Beginning Ballet features a two-year rotating curriculum, laying the groundwork for future ballet training while also learning new skills each year. Dancers will perform in our Christmas Showcase and Spring Production. The program concludes with a supportive and structured exam where students can celebrate their progress!
