Why Support CYT?

Christian Youth Theater is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization with EIN (82-1645955). Since revenue from ticket sales and class tuition is not enough to cover operating costs, every dollar you contribute assures that CYT can continue to deliver top-notch affordable programming and achieve its goals in developing character in children and adults one stage at a time.

More Than Just A Show!

CYT's programs are about so much more than musical theater! We are dedicated to developing character in children and adults one stage at a time.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are able to serve our community by providing quality, affordable educational programs, and productions. However, ticket sales and class tuition are not sufficient to cover the cost of delivering top-notch programming.

A gift to CYT is an investment in an established, family-oriented organization that helps provide young people a safe, wholesome environment and skills to make better life choices so that they become positive, contributing members of their community. CYT also allows young people to explore the arts in an atmosphere that nurtures their inner creativity while developing their character.

The Kaley Miller Memorial Fund

The Miller family has been involved with CYT since 2021. From very early on, Kaley expressed how much she loved the mission of CYT. Her kids, Zion and Kacia, have participated in many classes, camps and shows and Kaley has taught CYT classes and helped out anytime anything was needed. Her daughter, Keziah, helped her teach her first CYT class and her husband, Zach, has been involved in creating beautiful sets for our shows. This family has a special place at the heart of CYT Colorado Springs.
Because of Kaley's love for CYT, her family has chosen to create the Kaley Miller Memorial Fund to honor her passion for sharing Christ's love though musical theater. The gifts given in Kaley's honor will be used to further the mission of CYT that she so dearly loved.

Donor Benefits

CYT relies on the donations of patrons so we can provide quality theater education across the country. According to “The Value and Quality of Arts Education: A Statement of Principles”, students who participate in the arts do better in school, stay in school longer, and win more academic awards. They are also three times more likely to go to college and become more confident, considerate, pro-social and pro-civic citizens! Your generous donation ensures that our students are given these benefits, so that they can go on to build a stronger world for future generations.

Scholarships

CYT aims to give access to theater arts for all kids regardless of their financial situation. As such, CYT makes scholarships available to families in need. Scholarships are available for part or full class tuitions.. Your donations help give kids who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance an opportunity to participate in our programs.
