Contemporary Intermediate I
    Ages: 10-12
    Enrollment: placement only
    Length: 1hr
Description: Expand your contemporary dance skills in this intermediate class, building upon foundational skills and executing more complex movement patterns. While refining technique and expanding their movement vocabularies, students will engage in more challenging floor work, explore more sophisticated spinal articulation, and experiment with using a wider array of leaps and rolls. Intermediate Contemporary I also features a two-year rotating curriculum, ensuring diverse learning experiences and the growth necessary to continue studies at a more advanced level. Dancers will perform in our Christmas Showcase and Spring Production. The program culminates with a supportive and structured exam to measure progress and guide future placement.
