Tap Intermediate II/Adv
    Ages: 12+
    Enrollment: placement only
    Length: 1hr
Description: Unleash your percussive artistry in our Intermediate 2/Advanced Tap Dance class! This class combines Intermediate II and Advanced tap levels for dancers ages 12 and up. Intermediate 2 students may choose between this class and the other Intermediate 2 class. Instructors will challenge each level with appropriate combinations to help students master advanced tap technique, complex rhythmic phrasing, and dynamic performance elements. Dancers will perform in our Christmas Showcase and Spring Production. The program culminates with a supportive and structured exam to measure progress and guide future placement.

Zach Guzman

Zach Guzman has been tapping for over 25 years, with extensive experience in musical theater. His stage credits include lead roles in White Christmas, The Wizard of Oz, 1940s Radio Hour, 9 to 5, and Oklahoma, and he's also choreographed for productions like Shrek and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Zach has performed internationally with Norwegian Cruise Lines and Jean Ann Ryan Productions. He’s excited to return to CYT, where he can blend his dance skills and musical theater experience to bring a Moana-inspired class to life for his students.
