Behind the Face: Intro to Stage Makeup and much more!
Jump into the world of makeup where characters come alive, and creativity runs free. In this class we will be tackling the basics of stage makeup, tools of the trade, and application techniques, but also more advanced techniques that allow you to get creative in designing your own specialty makeup; like aging, mermaid or reptile style, comic book pop art, animal makeup and more! The sky is the limit with your imagination for our showcase where we will do a runway style show to reveal your makeup finale!

Session class dates for Tuesday classes are:

March 5, 12, 19 (no class March 26th for Spring Break)
April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Class showcase will be April 30th.

I'm a mom to 5 theater kids ages 9-17! They are all involved in performing in some way or another and I love it! I have loved being a part of the CYT family and I have volunteered on several show committees but my favorite is being makeup mom! I have been lead makeup mom for over 5 shows now! I love getting creative and getting to know all the kids in the process! When I am not busy with theater I love thrift shopping, hiking, being creative in any way I can whether that's cooking, crafting or other projects, and of course where would we be without coffee, chocolate and Jesus! I'm from Kansas but Colorado has won my heart!
