Description
Dance: WE ARE! All Levels Hip-Hop
Jump into the world of Hip-Hop with WE ARE! - a fun, energetic, and creative dance course that will introduce young and beginner artists to foundational Hip-Hop moves and techniques as well as grow and challenge those with previous experience! The class will explore the dance style fundamentals of Rhythm, Space, Timing, and Shape as we discover what it means to express ourselves - and our relationship with God - through dance. From rookie moves like The Two-Step and the Biz Markie to fire grooves like the Six Step and Freezes, students will learn age-appropriate dance combinations based in House, Breaking, Popping & Locking, Old School, B-Boy/B-Girl, and my favorite genre, KRUMP (Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise!) Clean, inspiring music, teamwork, and respect for the dance style and each other are drilled as the building blocks we need to take on the dance floor so that when the world says "You ready?" we have the confidence to say "WE ARE!"
Session class dates for Tuesday classes are:

March 5, 12, 19 (no class March 26th for Spring Break)
