These independent, pre-ballet and pre-tap combo classes continue to introduce your preschooler to the world of dance.Through themed storytelling, engaging and purposeful props, and a wide variety of age-appropriate music, your child will begin to master musicality and rhythm, coordination and control, strength and flexibility, artistry and creativity and basic dance steps and vocabulary. This class uses the BLOSSOMS early childhood curriculum designed to integrate important fine and gross motor skills, core strength exercises, and pre-academic skills all while dancing and having fun!
Petals 4-5 includes dancers who are 4 years old on August 1st, 2026 and will turn 5 through the year.
Dancers wear a uniform leotard with attached skirt, pink* tights, matching canvas ballet slippers and black Oxford style tap shoes.
Petals perform in our Christmas Showcase (wearing uniforms) and Spring Production (wearing purchased costumes).
If is auditioning, at least 1 guardian must sign up for a Production Team. Please select your preferred choice, however your Production Team is subject to change.
