CYT's Cultivate Music Academy

Cultivate Music piano and vocal classes are weekly, 50 minute, small group classes with 2-8 students. These classes will provide the consistency of private lessons at an affordable price in an encouraging environment.
We are trying to keep our prices at the very lowest possible so everyone can have quality instruction. We also have an income based sliding scale for tuition. See below for more information.
*There must be at least 2 students registered for a class in order for the class to run.

Current Teachers:

Amelia Kirk

Amelia Kirk was born and raised in Colorado. She started performing in the Douglas County Children's Chorus, and ended up performing all over the world in choirs and bands. She has also performed in many musicals and operas, which instilled in her a love for theater. Amelia is currently a K-12 music/theater teacher at Home School Academy in District 20. She directs a High School Musical Theater Program there and the students are performing Willy Wonka in the spring. Before moving to Colorado Springs she taught choir at Northglenn High School and had a voice and piano lesson studio. Amelia loves seeing children learn and develop new skills and is excited to join CYT!

Erika Cincotta

Erika has been making music for as long as she can remember. She sang in church choirs and musicals, took dance classes, played flute in bands and orchestras during high school, and continued her musical studies in college, where she received a degree in Music Therapy from Duquesne University. Shortly after graduation, Erika found her passion for making music with young children at Peabody Preparatory in Baltimore, Maryland. After moving to Colorado Springs, she continued teaching early childhood music classes through Pikes Peak Music Together while raising her own children. In 2018, she began working for Joint Initiatives for Youth and Families, where she spent eight and a half years training and coaching parents and professionals to support children’s development in early language and literacy, music and movement, and social/emotional skills. Now a parent of three adult children, she enjoys singing with the Colorado Springs Chorale and is excited to continue her musical journey with Cultivate Performing Arts Academy and CYT!

Jessie Doyle

Jessie Doyle is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She received her bachelor’s in music with a focus is music theory from Dickinson College and received her Masters degree in Music Education from Boston University. She is currently a music/musical theater teacher at the Home School Academy in Academy District 20. Her areas of expertise are vocals and viola, but she also loves playing the ukulele and piano as well as nerding out over music theory. She is so excited to start her journey teaching at CYT!
