Rosebuds 1 Ballet classes are a wonderful introduction to the format and expectations of a one-hour ballet class. This class is carefully designed to scaffold a young dancer's physical, mental, and emotional readiness for further ballet study in a developmentally appropriate, joyful, and nurturing way. Through the year your dancer will develop musicality, strength, flexibility, artistic expression and movement sequencing in an enriching, imaginative format with themed storytelling and engaging props.
Rosebuds 1 includes dancers who are 6-8 years old on August 1st, 2026 and may turn 9 during the year.
Dancers wear a uniform leotard, uniform skirt, pink* tights, and matching canvas ballet slippers.
Rosebuds 1 dancers perform in our Christmas Showcase (wearing uniforms) and Spring Production (wearing purchased costumes).
If is auditioning, at least 1 guardian must sign up for a Production Team. Please select your preferred choice, however your Production Team is subject to change.
