Rosebuds 1 classes are a wonderful introduction to the format and expectations of a one-hour ballet class, carefully designed to scaffold a young dancer's physical, mental, and emotional readiness for further ballet study in a developmentally appropriate, joyful, and nurturing way. Designed for dancers who 6-8 years old on August 1st, 2026 and may turn 9 through the year.
Through the year your dancer will develop musicality, strength, flexibility, artistic expression and movement sequencing in an enriching, imaginative format with themed storytelling and engaging props.
Dancers wear a uniform leotard and uniform skirt, as well as pink* tights with matching canvas ballet slippers.
Rosebuds 1 dancers perform in our Christmas Showcase (wearing uniforms) and Spring Production (wearing purchased costumes).
If is auditioning, at least 1 guardian must sign up for a Production Team. Please select your preferred choice, however your Production Team is subject to change.
