CYT Lite Show- Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs after Dark
8-13 years (7.5 year olds who are ready to handle a show,  can register too by contacting kyla@cytcoloradosprings.org)
Directors: Amelia Kirk & Sydney Akridge
**Students in this class are not eligible to audition for our winter MainStage shows, Madgascar Jr or Godspell**

We are so excited to offer a CYT Lite show as a performance opportunity for 8 to 13-year-olds! This class will be fast-paced and packed with learning as the students work toward performing the 30-minute show, Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs Before Dark Kids!
Rehearsals will take place on Mondays during CYT class time from 1:00-3:00pm. This class will also have a Saturday rehearsal and a longer tech rehearsal on the Monday afternoon during their performance week, so please look closely at the dates below. The class will perform one public performance on Wednesday, February 17th in the evening.
Students will submit a vocal audition video before we begin rehearsals. Callbacks and dance auditions will be held on the first day of class. There are no parent committee requirements, although we may ask for volunteers to help with costumes, props, concessions for the performances or any other needs that come up. This production will use simple costumes, with some items brought from home, as well as simple sets and props.
Our goal with this class is to give our amazing students a chance to shine on stage in a low pressure environment with a much smaller commitment than a main stage show.  Students who choose to participate in this Lite show are not eligible to audition for the fall MainStage shows, Madagascar Jr & Godspell. We are looking forward to getting started on Dinosaurs After Dark and hope you are excited to join us!
* There is a $75 production fee in addition to regular class tuition to cover the additional rehearsal hours, show licensing and tech needs. The total cost of the class is $325
