For students currently enrolled in Conservatory 2 and those interested in joining Cultivate's Classical Ballet Conservatory.
Each Tuesday & Thursday class throughout the summer includes par terre, ballet technique, and a specialty class. Specialty classes could include, but are not limited to, classes such as modern dance fundamentals, contemporary phrase work, etudes, dance history, etc.
In Conservatory 2, students finish studying Vaganova’s Level 1 syllabus. Classes increase in length and now include a full barre, center, par terre work and the introduction of pre-pointe. This class is designed for committed dancers ages 10 and up who demonstrate mastery of the Conservatory 1 skills and whose turnout muscles are developed enough to safely support the number of training hours. All Conservatory class sizes are kept small to ensure a healthy, close-knit environment where each student can build a close relationship with their teacher and each other.
