Intro to Conservatory: Week 2 (June 30)
This class is for students who have a strong interest in classical ballet and are interested in applying for the Pre-Conservatory and Conservatory 1 levels of Cultivate's Classical Ballet Conservatory in the '26-'27 season. Dancers are encouraged to take
Rosebuds 2 (Ballet) throughout the summer session.
Our Intro to Conservatory class is designed for the 7- to 10-year-old in their early years of training who enjoys a deeper approach to classical dance. This level uses creative, engaging, and joyful teaching methods to inspire young students and carefully introduce them to the Vaganova method’s pre-ballet technique, etudes, and the par terre work used to develop the strength, flexibility, and coordination necessary to study classical ballet at an advanced level.
Class sizes are kept small to ensure a healthy, close-knit environment where each student can build a relationship with their teacher and each other.
This class may also serve as a placement class to be considered for Conservatory. Enrollment in this class is not a guarantee of acceptance into the Conservatory.
