Tuesday 4:15-6:15, CYT Lite Show- Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs after Dark

CYT Lite Show- Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs after Dark
8-13 years
Directors: Ashley Newell & Sydney Akridge
**Students in this class are not eligible to audition for our winter MainStage shows, Madgascar Jr or Godspell**

We are so excited to offer a CYT Lite show as a performance opportunity for 8 to 13-year-olds! This class will be fast-paced and packed with learning as the students work toward performing the 30-minute show, Magic Treehouse: Dinosaurs Before Dark Kids! Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays  during CYT class time from 4:14-6:15pm. This class also has two Saturday rehearsals and a Monday night tech rehearsal, so please look closely at the dates below.  The class will perform two public performances on Tuesday, February 16th.
Students will submit a vocal audition video before we begin rehearsals. Callbacks and dance auditions will be held on the first day of class. There are no parent committee requirements, although we may ask for volunteers to help with costumes, props, concessions for the performances or any other needs that come up. This production will use simple costumes, with some items brought from home, as well as simple sets and props.
Our goal with this class is to give our amazing students a chance to shine on stage in a low pressure environment with a much smaller commitment than a main stage show.  Students who choose to participate in this Lite show are not eligible to audition for the fall MainStage shows, Charlie Brown or Cinderella. We are looking forward to getting started on Dinosaurs After Dark and hope you are excited to join us!
* There is a $100 production fee in addition to regular class tuition to cover the additional rehearsal hours, show licensing and tech needs. The total cost of the class is $350
