Description

Kids Voice: Disney Sidekicks (ages 8-12)
It’s time for the Disney sidekicks to take center stage! Supporting characters are the spice of life, but they often get overlooked as people primarily focus on the main characters. Well, that won’t be the case in this class because we will be turning the spotlight onto the side characters.

Supporting characters are important because they can add layers and dimension to the story and the main character’s life. Some common types of supporting characters include the love interest, the antagonist, the best friend, the mentor, the sidekick, and the comic relief. So if your favorite song from Frozen is “Fixer Upper” that the trolls sing, or if you think Pascal is the best character from Tangled, then this is the class for you!

Through fun and vibrant music starring Disney’s most beloved sidekicks, we will learn the basics of vocal technique. Students will also learn to create a believable and imaginative supporting character that will be memorable on stage and make the most out of telling the story no matter what role they get. We will conclude with a fun parent Showcase where our sidekicks will get to shine!
