Behind the Scenes: Theater Props
Ages 11-16
Step behind the scenes and discover the art of theatrical props! In this hands-on class, students will design, build, paint, and finish production-ready props while learning the essential skills of a theatre props manager. Working on items for Cinderella and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, students will explore prop construction, organization, inventory, backstage etiquette, and prop maintenance. The class concludes with a showcase featuring their finished projects and the skills they’ve developed. Perfect for creative students who love theatre, art, and making things by hand—no experience necessary!
